Assessment:Magnetoencephalography (MEG) Report of Therapeutics & Tech Assess Subcommittee of AAN, Neurol 42:1-492., , 1992 See this aricle in Pubmed Article Abstract Despite the important theoretic possibilities the MEG and MEG-EEG combination,there is a gap between the potential and actual utility of the technique.Although it is a useful scientific tool that is undergoing rapid development and being used more extensively with EEG,MEG is not yet a proven clinical tool.Further studies are needed on a larger scale to assess the clinical utility of MEG and the MEG-EEG combination.
